    yes of course... and the clinical trial, done globally, was a resounding success.

    btw you might know that clinical trial doesn't mean its early stage experimental.... all drugs have ongoing clinical trials conducted to increase the data base and to continue to measure for longer term problems or adverse events and efficacy.

    if you were diagnosed with a terminal illness, such as glioblastoma for eg for which treatment currently has a very low success rate, would you go for an early trial of a new, untested drug? covid in its earlier forms was much a similar state of risk and, through a very high mortality rate, likely to severely damage the global economies too.
