Apples temp on their weather app is always overstated by a min of 10% where I live. They claim to get their weather forecasts from the BOM. The problem is that the temperature quoted on the BOM site is lower. The problem with this is that it distorts everything. Apple can claim that ‘it’s the hottest month’ on record, when it’s actually not at all. Why would apple overstate the temperature? Do the BOM have more than one weather station? Why? How come they don’t under quote or match the same number? The other day it was out by 20%. That is not a normal adjusted variance at all. Be careful of using the Apple weather app on your phone, it is not accurate at all.
