yet all these bods were wrong before in 2019 when they were talking up how long interest rates would stay low - Govt policy it seemed. weren't they wrong then? inflation started after that in 2021 but it was ignored until 2022. after the election was called.
could be that this too might delay inflation falling or even cause it to rise.
