there is this crazy idea that circulates in right wing camps that 'business minds' are what is required for government

the evidence is this -------- business minds led us to the GFC

is that not enough evidence to suggest that - it may well not be a great idea to allow 'business thinking' to run a country or nation

is it not clear that a nation is NOT a business?

is it too much of a mental leap to understand a very basic difference in business to nation running?

1. Business exists to make profit

2. Government 'should' exist to make a society that is harmonious and conducive to enable a society to grow and progress

Government should be in place to look after it's people - it should not be in place to look after business
