FYI Non residents are getting franking tax credits and this has been written up widely they do it via a deal where they lend shares to funds who claim the credits then split the proceeds with them.
I have posted the details several times on HC I can post the details again as explained by Robert Gotliebsen if you want he has been calling for it to be shut down.
