today - you're gone. If you lose 10 years - you just won't catch up. Oz - has lost about 40 years - and one just cannot replace or buy in 40 years of scientists and researchers that you didn't educate yourself

if you try to buy that experience - then, you are in a race with others all over the US and Europe and the biggest buyer of all - China. --------- a little ditty place like Oz ------------ pfffffffffffft, not a snowballs chance in hell.

So, why it really needs driving home biggly is because if Oz is going to have a go at having any kind of future - it's got to get to the point where it throws it's hands in the air and says 'ok, just wtf CAN we do about this'

only then - is it remotely possible to give itself a big glass of water and sit and hear the monstrous size of big steps that it will have to take to cut out all the cancers and sweat heavily when it sees the bill

the fuel efficiency thingy is merely one tiny sign of what rot there is ------ finally, housing seems to be being seen as a 'real' problem -------- finally - after being told for years it was coming and had to come

and see this morning a whopper builder in Oz gone bust ------- that's gonna hurt biggly
