On that partnership between Richmond Vanadium and Dalian Rongke Power announced today (https://www.aumanufacturing.com.au/richmond-vanadium-plans-vanadium-battery-manufacturing), here’s another interesting story published in 2022 which essentially says the US Government funded research into vanadium batteries which led to the establishment of the now failed Uni Energy… (there’s other links on this forum to that company if anyone wants to do an ‘advanced search’ ) … which - when it could not find US investors - sold the tech to Rongke Power - now reported as the largest vanadium battery producer in China.
— I guess it’s much better for AVL to try to steer well clear of Chinese investors given that link?
