Worth every penny if they can secure some considerable government support in this climate of politicians desperately wanting green energy wins. If we get left in the dark though, even after approvals and studies are complete, it will be a failure by many parties, inside and outside of AVL.
No one rates Chinese MOU's too highly and financiers would prefer BOA's from just about any other nation, but China is leading the world in VRFB construction, so it's a rock and a hard place with finding good offtake partners outside of China.
It's all pretty secret at the moment and no news is better than wish washy news at this pointy end... A paper mou wouldn't even move the needle I don't think. Hopefully they are reeling in bigger fish for the frying pan.
