The myth of liberals being "better economic managers" is shattered. That is why pale Trump is resorting to communism and culture war to try and get back in power. Even they know they don't have an economic leg to stand on anymore. Their policies created the housing bubble/crisis which has hamstrung the country being able to combat global economic trends and the required ebb and flow of interest rates. Your generation can happy fade away with the mythologies you try to keep alive...... nobody else is buying it anymore.
