there are a LOT of red lights and sirens going off atm as warnings - and IMO, most Ozzies won't grasp the potential of a large war that Oz will be involved in
Ozzies have never really been exposed to war close and personal on Oz soil - barring a bit of bombing in WW2 - but, miniscule really
the era now is different, the enemies might be very different, the weaponry is totally different, the tools of warfare - besides weapons that go bang are totally different -
and Australia does not have the same insular protection by distance that it has always had in the past
the debate is worthwhile ------------- to cloud it with a stupid trolling comment linking it to some Oz political point is the folly of immature childishness
if people want to discuss the US political situation and potential war for Oz - then, go for it
the chances of it being the ONLY thing to talk about in the near future are getting bigger and bigger and the ramifications are immense
