On Wednesday Albonocchio claimed Mike Burgess (look at the caption in the cartoon) said on Insiders that ALL of the Palestinians coming from Gaza were checked by ASIO when he didn't say that at all.
On Thursday Dutton provided him with the opportunity to correct the record and he then read from a piece of paper what he claims Burgess said but he doubled down and lied again. It was deliberate as the prepared answer shows.
On Insiders Burgess said that Palestinians ".... that were referred to ASIO in time ..." got checked. He was then asked if some were not referred 'in time' and he answered "yes".
IMHO the PM of any political persuasion doing that is lower than a snakes guts.
