It's going to be interesting if Australian Labor can do a better job than UK Labour.
Below is a table showing UK Labour vote losses in seats with largest Muslim populations. The black bars show seats that changed hands (3), meaning there was even more seats they only held on to by razor thin margins (7).
Wonder what happens as this "Independent" movement continues to grow, and the Muslim population of these constituencies continues to expand.
The only thing UK Labour can really try to do to keep these seats is bend the knee further. Will Australian Labor try to do the same?
