The fact is that neither Freuedenberg in his Budget speech, nor Albo tonight uttered even one word about addressing and paying down our $1 Trillion debt that was kick started by the Rudd/Bowen duo and has been kicked down the road by every government since.

I genuinely fear for the future of my children and your children with this cavalier attitude. It seems that post-Covid the populace has become accustomed to government largesse and both sides believe that attitude will continue going forward. Collective rationalism may be a thing of the past. Where we needed a Costello, instead we have two sides trying to outdo each other in the drunken sailor stakes.
