I can only assume that Washington is absolutely aware that they've got a fantastic deal going from the Aussies - where the Aussies get bugger all and the USA are clear winners
So, I can't see that Hegseth and Trump will want to can the deal.
FAR FAR more likely that they see the Aussie bigly suckers who were dumb enough to go for such a deal - might fall for EVEN bigger scams - so, let's try one on.

Whilst it 'should' be obvious, I don't think most people grasp just how scum like and horrid and conniving that these Trump trash really are - they're as slippery as eels - and unfortunately - they HAVE got teeth.
My guts tells me that if they're targeting Australia for anything and don't get interrupted - then, Oz has a problem and it's probably just how deep is the shit we'll have to deal with - not a case of if we get any or none to deal with --------- it's coming, unless their attention gets distracted.
One can only hope that Donald gets something to worry about that takes Oz out of his focus.
