@Comfortably Numb That is not how the Vic Govt Neighbourhood Grant program works.

It is up to people in each community to form groups or for councils or for developers to apply for the grants. If the grants are awarded then the successful applicants would determine which batteries to use.

However, given that the Grant program was announced in late Feb and closing date is April 11, my guess is that the grant program would only be applicable for those community/commercial developments that were already shovel ready and could have a battery installation bolted on to the development.
