You are not seriously suggesting that Ahmed goes to the sale yards and stands alongside every major importer and processor and buys a single sheep. Puts a lead on it and takes it home. Cuts it up in the backyard and his family of 4 eat the whole damn thing in one meal because they don't have a fridge??

Look at the pic of Tehran ...........it is a city of 9 million people. They live in major apartment complexes.

Rumour has it that they even have electricity and television.

Once again you have been sucked in by talk back radio callers saying that the ME is a backward third world country without modern facilities.

Re your next comment about the economics of abbatoirs and export facilities, I suggest you read the pages from https://www.wammco.com.au/

This co operative of the major lamb producing farms in WA processes and exports up to 14 million sheep per year. Chilled and frozen.

All production is free range and naturally produced. Our quality management systems ensure that all products are hygienic and safe. Our lamb is always of the highest eating quality. With a flock of 14 million sheep we can supply large volumes. We can supply prime lamb twelve months of the year from a production area that spans over 2.5 million square kilometres. We supply our international customers with an extensive range of products - chilled or frozen, by air or sea.

You are not suggesting that yourself and Cowcockie have more experience than those farmers in the WAMMCO co operative?
