Albo couldn't know the truth. When things went pear shaped in Alice Springs last year he and Burney flew in for a couple of hours then hastily left. Tells you a lot about both their real priorities and feelings on all this.

Compare these wimps to The Hon. Tony Abbott who spent one week per year immersed in Aboriginal communities living beside them and listening to their "Truths" both before and during his Prime Ministership. The ABC famously criticised him one year when he left after 5 days for urgent business but that's typical ABC. But no one on the Labor side ever bothered to do what Abbott did and live/learn and immerse himself in the culture to truly understand their needs and aspirations. When Jenny Macklin was Minister for Indigenous Affairs did she ever stay with an indigenous community or did she book a hotel room or a private yacht stationed offshore?

Does Burney have any plans to visit and stay with an Aboriginal community, I mean really stay ie. not in a special 5 star caravan or tent, I mean sleep under the stars and wash in a bucket like the rest?
