So how come money spent on Indigenous peoples is shielded from the normal checks and balances apportioned to Government spending in all other areas? What is being hidden from Australian's?
Is it the 200km round trip free taxi's to buy a pizza in Alice Springs or the numerous re-builds of indigenous housing destroyed by occupants who have no respect for the free housing afforded them? Or is it the number of Land Cruisers being handed out or the Centrelink moneys gifted so they don't have to work?
Perhaps its the money gifted to Land Councils that gets misappropriated into the pockets of Councillors............
Surely Burney can do something, anything other than sit in her office thinking up ways to hand taxpayers money around for no tangible benefit to Australians.
