ALC - A new year, a new thread

Hi all,


So what can we expect in 2018?


Three new directors have now joined the helm of ALC:

oRebecca Wilson – her skillset has already been demonstrated in some of the more recent comms imo.

oGeoff Rohrshiem – his successes are well document and expecting his previous experience to help bring ALC to a new level. Brings plenty of networks.

oKevin Moynihan – Veteran expert in the Health IT industry. Brings plenty of networks.


Hopefully in the first half of the year we get some more info on the following:


-Calvary Health – as we all know, Alcidion have been working with Calvary since March/April 2017 – initially in the development of a data lake. Under the Calvary umbrella there are 15 hospitals. This contract alone could open doors, windows and maybe even the front gate on ALC.

-MORE NZ District Health Boards – I have previously alluded to this, however moreso, with the acquisition of OnCall Systems Ltd (currently deployed in Waitemata and Wellington). The MIYA platform is also very closely aligned to the broader NZ Ministry of Health strategic  goals imo.

-ACQUISITIONS – We know the black-out period is still in effect. We know directors want to buy shares in ALC. We know from the AGM that there has been significant chatter on a potentially game-changing acquisition on the cards. I for one trust in the management team and am excited to see future developments on this front.

-EXPEANSION INTO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS – There has already been debate re expansion being a positive or negative move. If coupled with an international acquisition this could definitely fast-track any potential scalability and brand recognition in a positive way.
