Today, health informatics company Alcidion Group Limited (ASX: ALC) announced it will be convening an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on
Thursday 14th June, to obtain the shareholder approval required to complete the acquisition of MKM Health and Patientrack.
Alcidion’s acquisition of MKM Health and Patientrack is a transformative acquisition that will create a market-leading, international specialist health informatics company focused on decision intelligence and analytics technology for improved health care. Under the agreement, the combined Alcidion Group will offer a diversified product platform including Miya (Alcidion) and Patientrack (MKM Health), with extensive IT integration and data management capabilities. The acquisition will also see MKM Health CEO Kate Quirke appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Alcidion Group.
