To simply look at the price rise and question the value misses the point. You need to ask why. Everyone needs to do their own research.

The price is the price, always for a reason. In my opinion at 4 cents in March to May this year it was undervalued. At 10 cents in May it was slightly undervalued, since then the fundamental business performance has provided evidence to support a valuation upwards.

If you’re a true investor, with thought around their investments you need to do your research and create your own valuation. Start with understanding the business, the future potential then a present value.

The ALC HotCopper thread contains an abundance of good information from well meaning (and thoughtful) investors to support a rational investment analysis.

Is it cheap, undervalued, potential ‘Unicorn’? Do your own research and you can invest in ALC or any other stock with confidence.
