100% downtrend no two ways about it, is a bit of a stretch. Maybe if you take a purely linear view from oct 14. Or are using slower lagging indicators like moving averages.
Arguably the trend was done barely two weeks later. The negative DMI peaked Oct 30 and ADX has been weakening ever since and sub 20 for two months. In that case it's ranging, not trending.
There's no 100% definitions on technical analysis, just your interpretations of chosen indicators.
