My take is that whether the price is being held by manipulation or not, if the fundamentals are good and the stock is worth buying (for whatever reason such as new contracts, new products etc) no manipulation will stop the market making the final decision.
I love tech trading but use it to alert me to stocks that are moving often on the basis of changes in fundamentals!
Others don't care as much about this and ride the momentum, I'm not comfortable enough to just do this with a tweeting president! So many of my momentum trades were going ok until Mr Tweet man caused them to stop out.
My take is that whether the price is being held by manipulation...
