re the capital raise, we don't know what ALC had in mind. I hope that some of it is to ensure we maintain the standard of our software. That ensures our future contract wins roll on at an accelerating rate. That alone will keep me happy.
If it is for a merger or acquisition, then know that McKinsey found that only 17% of mergers deliver the revenue synergies that management were forecasting at the time of the deal. Meanwhile a KPMG study found that over 80% of mergers and acquisitions fail to create shareholder value.
