Your right Pugsley, they will and be able to speed up Fibre as it is already in development.
The Fibre speed will be 10 times faster than the 100Mbs and will be commercially available in about 8 years time.
The world speed record for Fibre is 100Gbs (1024 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte), so the record is more than 1,000 times faster than the 100Mbs initial claimed speed of Fibre.
