Has your metallurgist mate ever been in a ball mill and was there to replace the rubber liners - it's hot and dirty work and if he did he would note that there are coarse gold trapped in between and behind the liners. Does your metallurgy friend also know how long it takes to dissolve a match head size gold particle? It's always nice to do the calcs and expect the value that comes from it, but there are gold traps and experienced people in the industry do understand this!
