Alcidion appoints Steve Lutz as General Manager of Business Development for Australia and New Zealand

Today we issued a press release announcing the appointment of Steve Lutz as General Manager of Business Development in Australia and New Zealand. Steve is a seasoned healthcare executive, who brings 20 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, as well a global perspective from assignments in markets such as Asia Pacific and Europe.

Steve has held various senior sales and management positions for global health technology companies. Most recently, Steve was Managing Director at Oneview Healthcare, a patient experience software provider, where he was tasked with overseeing the company’s sales, services and market development function. Prior to that role, Steve was Director of Business Development in Asia Pacific for Cerner Corporation, one of the leading Electronic Medical Records vendors. During his seventeen years at Cerner, Steve worked with eHealth NSW on notable programs including the statewide Community Health and Outpatient Care (CHOC) and Electronic Medications Management (eMeds) programs.

This is a key appointment in the context of our growth strategy, and one of the appointments we flagged as being in progress at the Half Year Results. Steve will work closely with the Alcidion senior management team in ANZ to develop and execute sales strategies, and to grow and manage the existing sales team, to help accelerate business growth in the region. Steve’s leadership experience and proven track record of customer success, combined with his depth of knowledge of enterprise software, will ensure that Alcidion is well positioned to support ANZ healthcare organisations to leverage new investments in healthcare IT.
