ALC looking like a great potential little earner. Not seen anything like this in ages.

Last time i recall finding a company Sussans...selling on just 2 times earnings after doing a backdoor listing from Anderson Seeds... i was amazed it was selling so low, so i took it to a broker to check the stats ...well it was so good he claimed as his own finding and told all his clients. It was eventually taken over back into private hands by the Gandel family. Sam Gandel was still alive then. i met he and his wife at an annual meeting and in conversation Sam told me they had started their first shop in Collins street in 1924 i think he said, but other media says 1939.

Another great one was Meriton Properties which Harry Trigaboff took back into private hands after a short stay on asx.

The moral of my story is and proven by the Dick Smith collapse and the Myers disaster .... is that good profitable companies stay in private hands and the rest get fed to the lazy chooks like us.
But i like what i see in ALC.
