Here's a serious question directed at long-term FYI investors. I've been wondering what it is about FYI that attracted Alcoa in the first place, and I presumed it was specific expertise held by FYI staff, or key IP & patent(s), or a mining asset (Kaolin feedstock) or perhaps industrial know-how. Yet I cannot identify any kind of conventional research team on the FYI website. (https://fyiresources.com.au/leadership-team) There's no one there with a PhD in say chemistry or materials science, only a couple of folk with BSc's. I'm wondering who are the main holders of the company's "expertise". Surely it couldn't be people hired as consultants or contractors ? Has the company ever mentioned that there are PhD level employees that are responsible for the actual research ? If so, these would be very important people.
All IMHO, DYOR
