yep fair enough - good points brickworks. Alcoa have been on the sidelines for this from the word go. Just because the money we make is negligible in comparison to ALcoa's core business doesn't mean it holds no interest for them. The clean advantage could give them a real cost edge in markets where dumping salt slag is banned. The real money for them is in primary and secondary production - but we do hold a real advantage for them in the secondary recycling part of their business when it comes to EPA compliance issues etc going forward. Who knows - they may be just waiting for it to be proven and of a price that rewards Frank for his long involvement - jobs for the boys?. They do seem to be going out of their way to be helpful to MHM but introducing SSC to us signals to me that they are happy to have the slag toll treated rather than brought in-house for the time being.
