MNM's BM JVA partner Exergen were named by the CSIRO as having the best fuel for DICE as revealed here -

Now, thanks to MNM holder Macro

If you read the linked submission it appears that ECT have the impression that large emitters like AGL will likely overlook unproven techs like Coldry and go with already proven methods of CO2 reductions? Perhaps GRE/DRYfining and Worley?

"Compatibility with Direct Injection Carbon Engine Technology (DICE)

ECT Limited has provided Coldry samples to CSIRO for ongoing research to develop a suitable, cost effective feedstock for emerging Direct Injection Carbon Engine technology. Over the next five to eight year period required to develop and prove the DICE technology, ECT expects a modified Coldry product will provide the ideal DICE compatible feedstock for the DICE technology.

Coldry is an important breakthrough and gateway solution that helps to de-risk the emerging “Brown Coal Beneficiation” industry by providing a highly improved feedstock that can be used by other technologies, including DICE, CTL and Pyrolysis to enhance the abatement outcomes of their own improved offering.

Unlike all other brown coal beneficiation technologies, the ECT Coldry Process is entering commercial scale demonstration, the Coldry product is immediately deployable and the product has an immediate market, enabling the ERF to achieve measurable abatement outcomes from brown coal from 2015."

Interesting isn't it Obe's? I thought you told us Coldry/ECT had told the CSIRO to come back later?

Obe - "That's correct Josimar...but what he did not mention is that Coldry was not in that list that was tested by CSIRO researchers as feedstock for DICE....did the researchers request Coldry pellets pre ALDP time zone to be tested....did ECT provide those pellets.....will ECT provide pellets post ALDP time zone??? Interesting times ahead"

Wrong again Obe's, coldry tested yet not linked to DICE anywhere other than below linked ECT submission paper.

As shown above, there are multiple CSIRO documents linking Exergen and DICE. The CSIRO FOI page reveals that Ex's CHTD was found to be best of all tested feedstocks.

DICE was named as first likely funding recipient from the ERF!

Greg Hunt has stated DICE will be used to help achieve Aus 2020 CO2 target.

Now DICEnet has revealed ALDP funding will likely go to DICE fuel technologies

All above IMO only and DYOR
