This preso by ignite is well worth a read for anyone interested in the value of Vic brown coal -

That would value Mantle's EL5210 with a JORC target of 500mill tonnes at around $2.5 - $4 billion alone. Mantle would have to pay 80c per tonne royalty of course to the vendor who did the "clean coal sold" deal.

The fact that DICEnet member GHD named Mantle as first likely exporter of BC from Vic, and the fact that EL5210 is on the rail line to Melb/Geelong, means we may not have to wait too long to see the market start to price our BC value in.
