alec mairs resource/ 10 weeks

"A number of diamond drill rigs are working on the Alec Mairs deposit 350 metres southwest of Cosmos and in the first quarter of calendar 2005 JBM expect to announce a resource."

From the last exploration update;

COMPLETION OF ALEC MAIRS DECLINE (JBM 100%)
Development of the Alec Mairs exploration decline has now been completed. This now provides underground
drilling positions for resource delineation of the Alec Mairs deposit, and ongoing exploration of adjacent areas.
Two underground drill rigs are now in position and drilling has commenced.

So we should have a initial resource estimate within 10 weeks?

• BJD099b 1.76 metres @ 7.45% Ni (includes 0.76 metres @ 13.50%Ni)


Exploration update 22/12/2004

ANOMALY (1)
Programs of metallurgical test work including a pilot plant scale trial, are continuing on the Anomaly 1 resource.
The results of this phase of work are on schedule for completion at the end of the March 2005 quarter.
A 6000 metre program of diamond drilling has been planned for early 2005 to extend a series of holes that were
originally drilled into the Anomaly 1 resource through to the underlying basal contact. Previous reconnaissance
drilling in this location has intersected zones of narrow massive sulphides up to 6% nickel associated with wider
zones of disseminated mineralisation. This program of exploration will provide excellent geological information
on this position for at least 300 metres south of Alec Mairs.
