The idea of equity stakes to targets would resemble a young bloke playing a field of ladies , with every lady thinking they are more important to the suitor than they actually really are. Sooner or later playing the field comes back to haunt you.
IMO they know if they start giving away the company then potential is limited, both in terms of mcap and uses. The approach the company have taken tells me they are thinking bigger than a deal or two.
