Talking about competitors to BBI... I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but most, if not all of our work to-date presented on gold involves Sigma gold nanoparticles, and not BBI solutions gold nanoparticles source 1, Source 2, source 3.
Even after we have announced our collaboration with BBI via HoT on work involved with gold nanoparticles used in lateral flow, it appears that we are simultaneously working on lateral flow applications with Sigma gold source 4.
