The NETSHARE NOMINEES holding also appears in the TOP 30 for the first time that I am aware of on Aug 24 of this year in a similar manner to the WOODROSS HOLDING and the FLEET NOMINEES holdings.

Again, in previous months it was also associated with some churn with no net monthly holding of any size. That situation changed very recently with its inclusion at position 22 in the Top 30. Its prior trading activity is also monitored below, and interestingly they have a number of separate accounts on the register

There were no transactions recorded for the month of June on the Cudeco Register for NETSHARE NOMINEES.

It might be a coincidence but if you check out the Top 30 numbers, NETSHARE first appeared on the register on the Aug 24 statement and dropped back the next day, just as COMMSEC NOMS increased their holding by a similar amount.

Cross trading may or may not be occurring between these two but it is interesting that the numbers match up fairly closely. We do know however that back and forth trades have been a feature of daily activity for a very long time. Why else would prolific trading not impact the register overly much as has been the case for month after month, year after year? But not now! The changes are coming through thick and fast now and that goes a very long way in helping to explain what we have endured.

No one accumulates dud stocks rapidly, especially with the sort of deep pockets that are in evidence with trading volumes sky high. And as it happens, these changes have been ushered in as soon as we were officially told that we had 1 million tonnes of copper metal sitting in the ground up at Rocklands. Coincidence?....I think not but you be the judge!

What is also interesting is that the same pattern in evidence with Woodross Nominees and Fleet Nominees has occurred again. ie Two months of churn, (albeit not huge numbers) then one month of sitting quietly with zero transactions, and then rapid accumulation over the last couple of weeks to make it straight into the Top 30.
