As expected by otherson this post, RIO has traded up in London (up 13 = 0.9%) and is so far up in NY by $1.42 or 1.4%.
Current NY price equates to AUD34.82 which will support our local close of $35.85 yesterday and may see the punters try and push it up over $36.00 today.
However, recent price action in London and NY looks toppy for RIO with significant divergences between the highes of 15 Oct and 9 Dec and the corresponding RSI and MACD peaks of same dates also indicating declining momentum and a possible top.
I am also short RIO as of two days ago with an initial price target of $34 being the uptrend support connecting the August, October and November lows.
