thanks for your time in reading this. I am new to TA and I just use the charts through my trading platform (Bendigo Invest Direct, pretty average to be honest it seems). I have been doing some backtesting for my trading strategy and it seems that an important missing link I need to get in order to identify exactly which stocks I will trade, is large increases of volume in trading. Is there a platform/software out there that can send me direct notifications/alerts when there is exponential increases in volume? This would save me a lot of time and effort manually sifting through every stock to see where major jumps have been made. thanks very much!
