Report: Alex Jones seeks immunity to testify on Jan. 6 Capitol attack

Austin-based conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has offered to testify before the U.S. House committee that is investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of then-President Donald Trump, The New York Times reported.

The offer came with a caveat — his testimony is contingent upon a grant of immunity from prosecution, Jones' lawyer Norm Pattis told the Times.
