Alex is certainly a very positive and confident presenter. Nevertheless, I find his comparison to DEG in this interview somewhat disingenuous (or should I say self serving)
When DEG discovered Hemi, it was almost virgin territory, whereas the BGD assets are old mines that BGD is now using modern technology to examine those and adjacent terrain. There had been some earlier exploration of the Hemi area but without discovery or sufficient penetration of the sediments.
BGD is indeed very active and producing drill results that are leading to a bigger picture definition but no way have they discovered a Hemi.
Still, I am prepared to run with a limited investment in BGD at this stage and see how they develop. As pointed out again in the interview, they have a moth-balled mill nearby that will substantially lower the cost of entering production should the drill bit and (hopefully) forthcoming studies show economic resources. Of course, the increase in the POG over the past 2 years has changed the economics from earlier mining appreciably.
