Drilling Report - Sellicks-1

Cooper Energy advises that the status of Sellicks-1 at 1700 hours
(CST) on 30 July 2002:
LOCATION: PEL 92; about 75 km west of Moomba
SPUD DATE: 2200 hours on 16 July 2002
DAYS SINCE SPUD: 14
FINAL DEPTH: 2242 metres
OPERATION: A straddle Drill Stem Test of the interval
2076.6 - 2086.5 meters was conducted. This interval includes a 5
metre zone which had hydrocarbon shows during drilling. No fluid
flows to surface occurred during the one hours twenty minute flow
period, but 17.6 barrels of oil and 12.3 barrels of water and mud
were recovered from the test string.
The well will now be cased and completed for oil production from the
Patchawarra Formation.
