"Joel has said that he doesn’t expect the outbreak to affect the trial or ethics. Ethics is a separate body to the operations of the hospital. Additionally, the clinical trial beds designated are in a seperate part of the hospital, away from infectious disease unit. We’ve been told that the infectious disease unit has had outbreaks before and that it doesn’t effect the running of the hospital as they are somewhat expected."
