Spot on Bumbling! But not just getting politicians to understand, Jo Public need to know too! Full page ads in newspapers, full of facts and stats in ‘normal speak’ so the general public can understand how useless home RATs are compared to the Rolls Royce of RATs (the Eugeni).
I’ve said something similar before in another comment a while back, but ADO need to get the ‘voters’ onside! The Government dont give a sh!t who is right or wrong, or what is the best for the population, all they care about is what is going to get them voted back in. So if ADO can curry favour with the voting public, the Government will fall into line.
As embarrassing as it is in hindsight, look how much airtime Derek got over the Chrissy/New Year period when Aussie Made RATs were not getting approved by the TGA, yet foreign ones were!!..... Everyone was up in arms! The Government sat up and listened, the pressure was on them and the TGA big time! (unfortunately it was ADO’s fault (there was a ‘bug’ in the system that prevent the scale up) not the TGA’s)
