Being in NZ I do struggle with the reporting of these figures.
I only know a few people who haven’t had Covid. The official total figure of COVID numbers is on the low side due to not all cases being reported which might explain the number of new infections. Due to the draconian measures previously in place I know of many who didn’t report their positive test results and instead just self isolate
