Last week, I got to present at theAustralasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA)Local Government Contaminated Land Forum in Port Macquarie, NSW.
This was ALGA's inaugural event of this kind, and it was great to present alongside local council members and some of our regulators, including the Environmental Protection Agency.
PFAS was a hot topic for the two days, and my presentation on “Treating PFAS-Impacted Water for Discharge to the Environment” was timely and promoted some constructive discussions amongst our industry thought leaders.
I spoke about two case studies where SciDev has used our FluorofIX technology to treat PFAS-impacted water to ultra-trace and super-ultra-trace levels (as low as 0.00023 µg/L), enabling its safe return to the environment.
Thanks to the organising committee and all the delegates for contributing to a great event, hopefully the first of many!
Cheers
