    "It's cheap for a good reason"

    I don't know what that good reason is.

    one could bet on a single number at roulette for a 36:1 payout where you have 1 chance in 37 to win.

    I think (just my opinion only) that fbr could easily give a payout greater than 36:1, and the chance of getting that payout is much better than 1:37.
