I imagine your order stays in the queue unfilled until you either modify the balance order lower or wait till the price gets back.
On the other hand if your order was only good for the day you probably have to pay the brokerage. You can only buy one share if you are already a holder of the stock otherwise its an unmarketable parcel ?
