i have condemned algoritmic / bot trading in my response to the survey.

get in there and do it.

my final words as a box allows on the last page. i don't see that they should be private. :

'the very cheap and unfair way of supporting ordinary share prices, in order to make near maturing options trade in the money, is trapping unwary investors into paying their calls, only to see the ordinary share price fall away after or collapse completely as in the case of IFE march 2012 options at 75 cents. company encumbents are knowledgeable of this system yet seem to be in denial that it is not having any serious effect on the reputation of the asx. i was an investor in shares quoted on the asx of xxx dollars but have withdrawn 99% of my money until some serious answers are made as to the credibility of such algorithmic / bot trading actions. i have friends who are young and learning their way in the market. they wish to invest for their old age. the only people making money from this are the scum bankers and brokers etc involved. it is disgusting and needs to stop immediately. if not, todays investors will have left and tomorrow there will be neither investors nor an asx to play with'.
