Hi there misterturtle, on my CommSec screen it shows the last trade of the day was for 0 (zero) shares and was a CommSec XT.
Does yours show that?
I suppose it can indicate a masked trade, but it sometimes also represents the logging off of a software routine, or the flushing of a dark equity pool after trading.
Let me know if you see any algorithmic trading.
