Algorithmic Trading - Time to take advantage?

I was sucked in by great sales techniques to buy a program called MyAlfred. I wanted to do something different ie short and long in the currency markets. The program does that, but I didn't research before committing and paid a huge amount that will take years to come back unfortunately. The program is basically a scalping program, taking small profits on multiple deals. Unfortunately the program keeps doubling up on loss making deals and keeps losing capital. Not exactly the way it's supposed to work! Have only been in it for 23 days but it doesn't look promising.

After researching, I found that their site states they have been doing this for ten years. They haven't or at least they have no prior history or reviews. Hard to believe! If you come across any AI bots that have a substantiated and verifiable record, please let me know.

If anyone had developed an algorithm / bot that is profitable, then they would use it to make profits instead of selling access to the bot.

The one exception would be if they wanted to leverage other peoples capital, clip a margin and scale it up that way. In this case, you are the meat in their sausage grinder.

Either way, why hand your money over to someone else?
